BETTER Series (1 of 4): A Better Way!

Welcome back! Thanks for stopping by! I am starting a new 4-part series called BETTER! I hope you stay with us and learn all about the BETTER that will improve your life!

Today I want to let you know there is A BETTER WAY!

Have you ever heard of the saying, “Work smarter, not harder”? Well, it eludes to the fact that there may be a better way. Unfortunately, many of us are stuck on the saying, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it,” or the saying, “Go with what you know.” People with this mindset tend to say things like, “This is how I was taught to do it” or “I have always done it this way and it works just fine.” They become “stuck in their ways,” which used to be how we described the older demographic. However, I have seen younger people with the same mindset. Consequently, people with this mindset fail to recognize that the way they are working needs to change, and as a result, they miss their opportunity to find a better way.

Fortunately for some, they have adopted the philosophy of working smarter instead of working harder. Let’s be honest! Who in their right mind wants to work harder than they need to? Don’t get it twisted, I am not knocking hard work. I am a true believer in giving it your all! I am also a true believer in giving it your best effort, and developing a way to help others give their best as well. That is why working smarter and not harder has the most benefit. If you can teach someone else “the better way,” you all can be that much more successful.

As a Christian, I have learned that the better way for living life in general is through Jesus Christ. While having Jesus on your side does not guarantee life will be easy, it does guarantee that life will be doable. Realizing this will enable us to stay in the fight and never give up! When you recognize and accept that Jesus is the better way, you can find peace in the midst of a storm. You can experience joy after heartache and pain. You can find hope in the middle of adversity.
