BETTER Series (3 of 4): A Better Time!

Welcome back! Thanks for stopping by! As we continue our series on BETTER, today I want to let you know there is A BETTER TIME!

Older people talk about the “good old days” and how they were so much better than today. On the contrary, younger people wonder how in the world the times of old could ever beat today’s world of technology. Some people remember a time where they struggled financially, but now they are holding their own. Other people remember a time when they had it all, but now they are homeless and/or jobless. I am here to tell you about a time where God will wipe away all tears from your eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away (Revelation 21:4 – KJV). This time will last for eternity! During this time, there will be a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth will be passed away (Revelation 21:1 – KJV). Can you imagine? If you are a Christian, I am sure that you CAN imagine… However, if you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, that may seem a little far-fetched for you. The truth is that if you do not repent and become a Christ follower before you die and leave the first earth, you will not experience the times I have mentioned. Instead, whatever time you get on this current earth will be your better time. You will never see the times of no more tears, no more death, and no more pain. On the contrary, you will experience a second death where you will cast into the lake of fire to spend eternity. Now, I don’t know about you, but that is not appealing to me at all! I have no desire to die a second death, so I am going to be obedient to the Word and submit my all to the one true and living God.
